Epic Mountain Gear in Frisco is seeking an experienced¬ Bootfitter¬ for the 2018-19¬ winter season.

Bootfitters are responsible for assisting guest with boot selection, proper fit, stance, balancing, alignment and custom foot beds.


Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):


  • Responsible for assisting guest with boot selection, proper fit, stance, balancing, alignment and custom foot beds

  • Describes and promotes products in line with customers expressed needs

  • Places guests in properly fitting demo equipment

  • Conducts inventory of demo equipment

  • Monitor store appearance and merchandise displays




  • Previous ski hardgoods sales -¬ preferred

  • Passion for skiing/snowboarding

  • Previous retail sales experience¬ - preferred

  • Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry

  • Previous snow sport industry experience - preferred

  • Ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English¬ -¬ required

  • Commitment to exceptional customer service

  • Basic computer skills -¬ required

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends -¬ required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
