Database Administrator Database AdministratorSummit County Communications Center (SCCC) is hiring a full-time Database Administrator.
The primary responsibilities of this position are for the design, setup, and management of Microsoft SQL databases used by the Summit County 911 dispatch center and supported agencies.
Existing databases including:
production support, security and auditing, performance tuning, backup and recovery, data replication, disaster recovery and testing, compliance with CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Service) standards, policies and procedures, and documentation.
The Database Administrator must have an in-depth understanding of Microsoft SQL database design and TSQL statements, ODBC data sources, and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
In addition, the Database Administrator will frequently be called upon to complete ad hoc reporting, as well as infrastructure construction and maintenance.
The position will have a high degree of autonomy.
Starting hourly pay range is from $26.
15 to $40.
58 per hour, depending on qualifications, plus excellent County health and retirement benefits.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
